RDWorks' accuracy level is not the greatest, so when you zoom in too much it won't always let you select items/nodes. However, I have found that this can change the shape of the curves more than using "Handle/Combine Curve", so I don't use Combine Nodes very often.Ī. Alternatively, you can select 2 nodes that are close together (one from the circle and one from the rectangle) and use "Edit/Edit Curves/Combine Nodes". Finally, select the arc and the cut rectangle and use the menu "Handle/Combine Curve" to combine them together. Now, repeat steps 1-6 on the rectangle.Ĩa. Select the arc that you don't want and hit "Delete".ħ. Select "Item Select" mode, which is the big gray arrow (1st tool from the top on the left-hand toolbar.)Ħ. Alternatively, you can save a bit of time by selecting both nodes (using the "Shift" key) and using "Edit/Edit Curves/Break Curve".ĥ. Select the other node and do the same thing. Since the circle is a closed curve, you aren't finished yet. Select one of the new nodes (changing it into a filled green box) and use "Edit/Edit Curves/Break Curve". Now you should have 6 nodes on the circle.Ĥ. .Do the same thing for the other intersection of the circle with the rectangle.
